ARTIST SERVICES
Artist Driver
Number Required: 3
Start Date: On or about June 6
End Date: On or about June 30
Schedule: Full-time
Description: Artist Drivers meet the transportation needs of artists (and artist’s gear), members of Festival staff, and VIPs, using Festival-rented vehicles. Transportation needs range from NYC airport pick up and drop-offs to local transportation between hotels and venues.
Requirements: Drivers must be at least 25 years of age and have a clean driving record. Drivers must be able to drive a 15 passenger van and have a general knowledge of the Greater New Haven area. Drivers are expected to assist with the loading and unloading of materials, luggage, and equipment. A friendly demeanor and an easy-going personality are big plusses!
AUDIENCE SERVICES
Audience Services Team Member
No. Required: 5-10
Start Date: On or about June 11. Availability for one advance orientation meeting.
Schedule: Hourly, TBD
End Date: On or before June 30
Description: Provide on-site box office and house management services at Festival events.
Requirements: Theatrical House Management and/or Box Office experience preferred. Must be calm and pleasant under pressure; genuinely welcoming, and always mindful of the safety and comfort of patrons. Must have excellent customer service skills, and be comfortable managing crowds. Must have the ability to manage teams of volunteer ushers, and quickly and accurately calculate, complete, and record ticket sales.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Volunteer Coordinator

End Date: On July 6
Description: The Associate Volunteer Coordinator works closely with the Community Engagement Manager to oversee daily operations of the volunteer program and supervision of the Information Booth prior to and during the Festival. The Volunteer Corps is made up of over 200 community members who donate their time in support of the Festival by ushering, surveying, working in the Information Booth, among other duties. The Information Booth, located on the New Haven Green, is open Tuesday-Sunday from June 15 through June 29. It is a hub of activity where people can purchase tickets via the internet, pick up schedules, learn about New Haven and meet other Festival enthusiasts.
Requirements: Ability to take initiative, set priorities, work independently, and manage multiple tasks; Excellent people skills; Ability to operate under time constraints and pressure; Microsoft Office Suite; Outdoor event work required.
GENERAL OFFICE STAFF
Receptionist

Start Date: On or about May 1
End Date: On or about June 30
Schedule: Hourly, Part-Time to Full-Time
Description: The Festival Receptionist will provide excellent front-line customer service to both callers and visitors, answering routine inquiries, and referring others to the appropriate staff member. The receptionist will provide general administrative support to Festival staff, and assist in the orientation of incoming staff and crew.
Requirements: Must have excellent customer service, administrative, and organizational skills; ability to calmly manage multiple phone lines and simultaneous requests. Good computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Access database ability preferred.
VIDEOGRAPHY
Video Interns
No. Required: 2-3
Start Date: June 1
End Date: On or About July 2
Schedule: Part-time
Description: The Video Interns will assist the Festival Videographer in recording and editing video content, and preparing it for broadcast through multiple media, including preparing DVDs and uploading material to the Festival’s website and other commercial websites.
Requirements: Must have basic knowledge of video camera operation, ability to use Mac audio/video editing systems, and a basic understanding of most commonly used video uploading protocols
