Environmental Art: The Andy Goldsworthy Tribute
Take a ride through New Haven to create all-natural art installations, in the style of famous environmental artists such as Andy Goldsworthy. You will make a handful of stops throughout the city to make art in harmony with your surroundings using natural objects found at the sites you visit, with the aim of leaving unexpected arrangements to intrigue those that happen upon them, hopefully inspiring a renewed appreciation of the community's beauty.
The best way to see
has a vibrant cycling community, and throughout the Festival volunteers from Elm City Cycling will lead tours of the city and surrounding communities. There are rides for all skill and experience levels. See the sights, learn more about history, and discover some of the exciting things happening in the area on these Bike Tours.
Bring a bike, spare tube to fit the wheel (mechanical assistance for minor repairs available), water, food, and sunscreen. Properly fit helmets are required.
