New Haven is a vibrant cycling community! See the sights, explore bike trails and paths, and discover a piece of local history.

NOTE : Properly fitted helmets are required to ride! There are rides for all skill and experience levels. Bring a bike, properly fitted helmet, water, food, and sunscreen. All participants must sign a release form before participating on the tour. All tours meet by the Festival Info Booth on the New Haven Green. Please note the difficulty level of the tour.

Ride to New Haven literary hot spots to hear local artists waxing poetically.

Ride to Hindinger Farm in Hamden to attend the annual Strawberry Festival.

Ride to Broken Arrow Nursery on a ridge in Hamden to see one of the largest variety of Mountain Laurels in bloom.

Certified League of American Bicyclists instructors will guide you through the nuances of group riding and bicycle handling skills.

Unavailable to motorists since the mid 1980s, Baldwin Drive follows the West Rock ridge for 7 miles.

Travel North from New Haven to Cheshire and learn about plans to connect the former rail trail to Northampton, MA

Back for another fabulous year, the New Haven Land Trust sponored ride is the perennial favorite. Visit many of New Havens gardens and greenspaces

This tour, co-sponsored by the Labor History Association, will visit some of the important sites associated with the rich history of working people, the labor movement and famous strikes in New Haven.

In 1866 New Haven was the center of the corset manufacturing industry and the site of the first pedal power bicycle ride and demonstration. This ride will explore the background of the corset and bicycle history in New Haven.

Ride to historic Lighthouse Point and see the Carousel and beaches and learn about the plans to construct a non-motorized, recreational trail from Lighthouse Point to Hammonasset Beach in Madison.

Travel South on the East Coast Greenway to Silver Sands State Park in Milford and return.

Since 1989 first year Yale architecture students participate in a competition to design innovative, affordable, livable housing. This ride will visit a number of the existing homes , as well as, visit the current construction site of this year's winning design.
