Best Parking Options

New Haven is a very walkable city, particularly between Festival venues! We recommend that you park in one place and explore the Festival on foot: park near your last event of the day for a quick walk back to your car.

The parking structures on this page have reasonable rates in effect during Festival performance times. Use a Festival parking discount to make parking in a structure cheaper and easier than street parking!

Street Parking

Metered street parking in downtown New Haven is available, but limited. NOTE: Metered parking is in effect until 9pm, Monday through Saturday (2 hour limit from 8am-5pm, no limit after 5pm; no parking restrictions on Sunday). Check all posted signs and be sure that you have paid your meter accordingly. Also check for temporary restrictions to street parking near your vehicle: summertime often brings construction to the area, and some parking regulations may be temporarily changed. Parking in a structure, especially with the discounts offered during the Festival, can often be cheaper and easier than parking on the street!
