Tickets

Tickets for Festival 2013 go on sale to Festival Members on April 2. Members save $10 per ticket during the presale period.
Tickets on sale to the general public on April 16. Ticketing services provided by the Shubert Theater in New Haven.
Ticketed Events
How to buy tickets:
ONLINE

BY PHONE
Call (203) 562-5666. Phone sales are handled by the Shubert Theater box office. Nominal service fees apply.
IN PERSON
Visit the Shubert Theater box office at 247 College Street in downtown New Haven. No service fees apply to window sales. Hours are Mon–Fri 9:30am–5:30pm, Sat 10am–3pm, Sun closed.
If available, tickets may also be available at the door for the event: venue box office opens one hour before the event's published start time.
Free Events
No tickets required for most free events. Just show up!
Some free events require reservations
Check the event page to confirm whether or not a reservation is required (mostly for tours and certain master classes).
Events may reach capacity
Arrive early to secure a space! Popular events reach maximum capacity well in advance of the published start time. Once the venue reaches capacity, we cannot admit additional guests. We strongly advise you to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Ideas Events
Ideas events are free for everyone, but like many of our popular free events, they often reach capacity. To guarantee your seat, and to support the Ideas Program, you may purchase an Ideas Fast Pass. Fast Pass holders are allowed into Ideas events to grab a seat before doors open to the general public. More information about the Ideas Fast Pass
Ticket Discounts
The Festival prides itself on providing low ticket prices to many events. 80% of events are FREE! For ticketed events, the following discounts are available:
FESTIVAL MEMBERS

GROUPS
Groups of 10 or more receive a 10% discount per ticket, plus one free ticket per 10 tickets purchased. Click here for group ticket information.
TICKET PACKAGES
Purchase 3 or more tickets and save 10%! Either choose any combination of shows, or stay for the day. Click here for more information about packages
STUDENTS
$20 tickets in advance only for full-time students with valid identification, subject to availability, for certain events and sections only. Discount not available on premium price tickets. At the venue door, student tickets are $25.
YOUTH
$20 tickets in advance only for youth age 3-17, subject to availability for certain events and sections only. All youth must have a ticket. Discount not available on premium price tickets. Youth under age 3 are not admitted to ticketed events. At the venue door, youth tickets are $25.
SENIORS
10% discount in advance only for seniors age 65 and above, subject to availability and for certain sections only. Discount not available on premium price tickets. At the venue door, senior discount is 5%.
PAY WHAT YOU WISH
For L'Homme Cirque and Freewheelers, a select number of tickets will be available on a Pay What You Wish basis beginning one hour before the performance (you may pay whatever amount you'd like for the ticket, from $0.01 to the moon!). Tickets will be available at the venue box office only, line begins at the door. One ticket may be purchased per person, first-come, first-served.
Ticket Policies
All ticket purchases are final, no refunds or exchanges. Dates, times, and venues are subject to change. Check Artidea.org for the latest information about all events, including weather delays and cancellations.

We recommend that you purchase tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Late Seating
Late seating is at the sole discretion of management, and is prohibited entirely at many performances; refunds will not be given for late arrivals.
Children
Children under the age of 3 are not permitted at many ticketed events. All children must have a ticket. Not all events are suitable for children. Please inquire when purchasing.
Accessibility
All Festival venues and most tour locations are wheelchair accessible. Please notify the box office when purchasing tickets so that we can reserve an accessible seat location for you.
