Yale Center for British Art

The Yale Center for British Art is a public art museum and research institute for the study of British art and culture. Presented to Yale University by Paul Mellon (Yale College, Class of 1929), the Center houses the largest collection of British art outside the United Kingdom.

159 York Street, New Haven (Enter on York between Crown and Chapel).

Street parking

Street parking in downtown New Haven is available, but limited. NOTE: Metered parking in downtown New Haven is in effect until 9pm, Monday through Saturday (2 hour limit from 8am-5pm, no limit after 5pm; no parking restrictions on Sunday). Check all posted signs and be sure that you have paid your meter accordingly. Also check for temporary restrictions to street parking near your vehicle - due to construction in the area, some parking regulations may be temporarily changed.
