The historic New Haven town green us your space: it has always been for the city, its citizens, and all visitors, and it is the site of the Festival’s signature free concerts every summer.

Every concert on the New Haven Green Elm Street Stage is always free. Get there early for the best spots down front, or spread out with a blanket and picnic basket anywhere on the Green.

Options to Enhance Your Experience

For headline concerts on the Green (weekend evenings), the Festival offers several convenience options to enhance your experience:

Chair Rentals

Planning a day full of Festival activity, or visiting from out of town on the train? This option is perfect for you. Purchase a chair rental and pick up your chair when you arrive at the Green that evening. $10

Bleacher Seats

Bleacher seats offer a raised, unobstructed view of the stage across the Green: if you want a place to focus on the music and enjoy a clear view of the performance on stage, this is a great option for you. $10

Premium Passes

This is the ultimate experience if you are a big fan of the artists on stage, or if you just want the ease and luxury of a premium experience for your summer concert evening. Premium Passes offer entry to our Member seating area at the front left portion of the stage, and access to the First Niagara Hospitality Tent, with drinks and snacks provided. Pass prices include a tax-deductible donation to the Festival. $250 for 2 passes, $500 for 4 passes.
