I have been through a lot throughout the course of my life. When I was born, my mother and father were in the military, which involved a lot of moving around. I was born in Middletown, Connecticut and from there we moved to San Diego, California, where my other two sisters were born. From California we moved all the way back across the United States to Virginia, where my youngest sister was born.
Shortly after that, when I was still just a young girl, my parents got divorced and my mother and I, along with my three sisters, moved to another part of Virginia. After a few years of living there we moved to Maryland; after that we moved to another part of Maryland, then to Connecticut and moved still two more times, to other parts of the state.
So there has indeed been a great amount of moving in my lifetime so far which has interfered with my and my sisters’ schooling because each place that we moved to had a different curriculum, and by the time we caught up, we moved again.
Although moving made school difficult, I still managed to maintain my grades and I plan to extend my knowledge by going to college. I want to move forward in life and go to college for at least four years or more. I want a successful life and college is a great way to start.
