The New Haven Green is the place to be this weekend as Village of Villages opens once again from 1 to 5 p.m. today and Sunday. From dance to gospel singing, hip hop to martial arts demonstrations, we have it all, on multiple stages on the Upper Green. Don't miss these special attractions:
Quick Start Tennis -- Join the New Haven Parks and Recreation department and Pilot Pen Tennis for a QuickStart tennis clinic -- the best way for youngsters to get in the swing of things quickly! Lessons begin at 1 p.m. and continue until 4:30 pm.

Finding Space Sacred: 5 Twilights Plus- Edgerton Park at 7:15 pm

Don’t miss “Interplay in the Spirit,” a sacred dance performed in the Edgerton Park Community Garden. Group improvisations will be led by choreographer Lisa Laing and danced by Mary Barnett, L’Ana Burton, Becky Cline, Karen Josephson, Caitlin Richards and Dorothy Finnigan. Audience participation is encouraged!
