Bobby DellaCamera(he/him) first joined the Arts & Ideas team in 2022 as a Stage Manager in the production department and quickly took on additional responsibilities, including overseeing the artist services team as Company Manager. He later transitioned to leading key initiatives including the annual fundraising gala and the Visionary Leadership Award as Special Events Manager. Since then, he has continued advancing within the development department, first as Development Associate, then progressing to Development Manager, and now serving as the Associate Director of Development.
Prior to the Festival Bobby lived in New York City where he was a teaching artist for Creative Muse, a nonprofit with the belief that all youth and adults should have access to necessary creative skills and emotional coping mechanisms. He also spread joy as an offline editor with the millennial pink beauty brand Glossier.
As a key member of the development team Bobby is drawn to steward a deep commitment and connectedness amongst Festival supporters. He is tasked with the organization and implementation of all development-related special events as well as maintaining accurate records, creating new systems, and supporting the fulfillment of Festival sponsorship proposals and agreements.
He graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Haven earning a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts with a concentration in performance. Outside the world of arts and culture Bobby leads a fulfilling life. His nurturing spirit extends to his cherished dog, Sasha, his yummy candle collection, and his dedicated yoga practice.
