Top Notch Ensemble and Trio was established 25 years ago and consists of 4 multi-talented musicians and a female vocalist. Top Notch has performed with artists including Smokey Robinson, Clifton Davis, Jeffrey Osborne, Vickie Sue Robinson, Earnest Borgnine, Pete Barbutti, Doug McClure, and many others. They've performed at venues including Toads, Palace Theatre, Omni Hotel, Bushnell Park, Long Wharf Festival, and the Miller Lite Street festival, and their recent CDs are titled Phil E. Brown with Top Notch Ensemble, I've Been Around All the Time, and Yeah, I'm Still Playing.
