Mark Juneteenth 2021 with this bike tour through history focusing on New Haven’s foundational history of Black creativity and innovation. This ride will take bikers through key historical landmarks where African and African Americans have left their imprint on the history of New Haven. Reaching back to the 1700s, we’ll move through space and time to uncover the backbone of a city that is still grappling with issues of equality, representation and legacy.
