Florian Carle
Dr. Florian Carle is the Managing Director of the Yale Quantum Institute, a French rocket scientist and engineer with a theater background. He transitioned to quantum science to develop science and art outreach programs, making complex topics accessible and inspiring STEM careers. In 2017, he launched one of the first Artist-in-Residence programs for quantum science. Florian, a 2024 Connecticut Science Center STEM Achievement Award recipient, has collaborated with space agencies and conducted zero-G experiments. His work bridges quantum science and art, and he is also an avid rower, snowboarder, and theater enthusiast.
