Jimelys Maldonado
"Hi my name is Jimelys Maldonado, and I will be talking about the police brutality and racism that is going on worldwide. As many of us already know, African Americans have been dealing with discrimination. Many of them have been killed and tortured, and thought many people are protesting about it, it never seems to stop. Now, many racists have claimed African Americans to be violent and threatening, just because they are taking a stand. When African Americans peacefully protested for their rights, no one listened, no one cared. But when the African American community finally got fed up with the abuse, they knew they had to stand strong and speak louder. Just because of those two, in violent actions, they are now labeled as a “threat”. I find this to be very wrong. In addition to this unfairness, the protests about police brutality are a joke to many racist and racist police. This discrimination and police brutality needs to end. You can’t just willingly kill someone because of their skin color. This cruel world needs change, we need to unite, no matter what race, to stop the worldwide assassinations that police forces think are jokes."
