Our first night of events on the New Haven Green will be silky smooth, improvisational, and freeing, set to the sounds of The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Made up of 15 of the finest soloists, ensemble players, and arrangers in jazz music today, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra is a household name and a New York Times “Topic” fixture for a reason. Exploring issues of social justice and arts accessibility in their recent work, The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra event will provide food for your ears, mind, and soul.
