Anthony Smith and Fully Committed is a music ministry birthed out of the Old School vs. New School Choir Challenge created by Vincent Shields of Calvary Temple Christian Center where Bishop John R. Thompson is pastor. This event was planned as fundraiser but turned out to be so much more. Young people from different cities and churches came together and in just four rehearsals under the direction ...of Anthony ministered on June 27, 2009 and it was clear from the first song “Heaven” that this was a choir that had to go on beyond the Choir Challenge. After much prayer and encouragement from Bishop John R. Thompson and Brother Vincent Shields, Anthony did what God placed in his heart and continued with the New School Choir. On Monday August 3, 2009, the New School Choir had their first official rehearsal. Before Anthony could establish a name for the choir, he began receiving invitations to minister. Before long, in prayer, God gave Anthony the charge and the name, Anthony Smith and Fully Committed. Our mission is to draw young people into a deeper relationship with Christ through our music, outreach ministry and to glorify God through a lifestyle of holiness. In 2018, Anthony Smith & Fully Committed released their debut single entitled “I Am Protected”. Anthony Smith & Fully Committed has been blessed to grace the stage with the likes of Kirk Franklin, JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise, Dr. Bobby Jones & The Nashville Super Choir, James Fortune & Fiyah, Bishop Hezekiah Walker & Love Fellowship, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Bishop TD Jakes, Kierra Sheard and Bishop William Murphy.
Empowered is a newly formed community choir full of young adults who want to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world! They are under the direction of Professor Stefon Hawkins. The mission of this gifted group of singers is to empower the body of Christ and to reach lost souls.
New Haven, CT based writer, Andrea Daniels-Singleton, has honored her skills in the Arts for the past several years. Andrea blended her love of writing music and literature/monologues to create the perfect marriage. Andrea’s evolution into the arts allows her to passionately bring healing to the community, promoting awareness and change. Andrea is a Wife and Mother of two children.
Participate in NCAT's youth cycling activities! We'll practice bike safety with skills such as starting and stopping, scanning, signaling, turning, avoiding hazards, and riding in a straight line. Bring your bike (bikes not provided). All youth under 18 who can ride a bike are welcome (this is not a learn-to-ride class).
