Zainab is currently a series regular on the new Amazon Original hit series titled "Upload" from Greg Daniels, she is one of the hosts for Netflix's show "100 Humans", and starred as Dr. Hanniel in the brilliantly written web series Avant-Guardians. She made her first late night stand up appearance on NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers and had breakout appearances on HBO’s All Def Comedy, NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and has performed at the JFL Comedy Festival in Montreal first as a "New Face of Comedy", then as "Variety's Top 10 Comics to Watch", and most recently on the longest running JFL show "Just For The Culture". She is a paid regular at The Comedy Store, The Improv, and Laugh Factory in Los Angeles as well as the Comedy Cellar in New York City.

Jose Candelario
Jose Candelario is an award-winning and creative media professional with hands-on expertise in content creation, development and post production. He has worked in broadcast television for over 15 years in various capacities and is trained in long form improvisation from The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and in commercial and monologue from the Actor’s Gym. As a film director and producer, his communication style is designed to entertain while being as informative and educational as possible.
Currently, Jose produces and host Late Night Rhythms on 94.3 WYBC. He has also produced and provided talent to two radio shows on 103.5 FM: “Keeping it 100 with Jose Candelario” on The New Haven Independent, and “K-Pasa” on La Voz Hispana. He also has produced and hosted a weekly Thursday Night Comedy show where he brings seasoned comedians from the NY, CT, MA markets to the New Haven area. He has an uncanny ability to create and maintain various productions effortlessly while never compromising on quality. His mission is to provide the community with transformative, entertaining, and educational productions.
His travels have taken him around the world where he explored the traditions, art and music of various cultures. From the Afro Caribbean festivals in Cuba, Broadway in New York City, live jazz at Cliff Bells in Detroit to Latino Film festivals in LA. Observing local cultures and how they teach traditions and express themselves has helped him shape and tell stories in a compelling, authentic way. Jose has a deep passion for grassroots community advocacy and has applied what he’s learned to share the voices of our Black and Latinx communities in his hometown of New Haven. Jose follows his passion and would like to spend the rest of his life inspiring others to do the same.
Jose resides in New Haven with his beautiful wife and two children, Luna 14 and Awesome 4. In his free time, he loves to give back to his community by volunteering and donating to the CT Violence Intervention Program, The New Haven Steelers, Big Turtle Camp and Bregamos Theater.
