Prospect’s VISION Series is a music-theater-on-film initiative is made possible with leadership project support from: Leonard Majzlin and Somerled Arts.
The event will be kicked off by Jacey Powers of The Feminist Cocktail Hour sharing the Belva-dka Lockwood Lemon Fizz signature cocktail recipe seasoned with a short history of Ms. Lockwood’s contributions to the historical record.
To follow along with Powers at home, you'll need:
Ingredients:
Vodka (although rum or tequila could also work. This drink can also be made without alcohol)
Lemon Juice
Pineapple Juice
Fresh Minced Ginger
Basil
Sugar
Water
Club Soda
Ice
Equipment:
Cocktail Shaker (though two pint glasses can work as well)
Measuring Implements (like cocktail jiggers or measuring spoons)
Muddler (or the back of a spoon)
Small container with a lid (like a mason jar)
Strainer (though in a pinch a fine mesh tea infuser could work)
If you are missing an ingredient or a piece of equipment--don't be stressed, get creative. Throughout the last seven months we've all learned to work with what we've got. Mixology is fun, not fussy.
