Today, we caught up with Cynthia to learn her top three tips for job hunters.
Know your value. "Be ready to talk about your accomplishments. Not just what you have done or your tasks but what you accomplished."
Learn your story. "The most common question at an interview is 'Tell me about yourself.' Be ready to answer to that question. One of the reasons we're so nervous during interviewing is because we don't know what to expect, but if you come to an interview with your stories and are prepared to answer that question, you won't let your nerves get the best of you.
Master the virtual space. "We have to prepare for two things when doing virtual interviews: the technical aspect of interviewing--being familiar with video conferencing, proper lighting, a proper background--and the interview. It's important to focus on both equally; employers want to know that you came prepared and can handle the use of technology, even if you've just learned it!"
